GENERAL T&Cs

  • Promotions do not apply to Contracted Menu/Contracted Venues.
  • All menus are not applicable for any events at The Star PAC, National Gallery, Cathay Cineplexes, Gardens by the Bay & Jewel Changi Airport.
  • All items, menus and confirmations are subject to availability on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • All items, menus and prices are subject to amend or withdrawal without prior notice at the sole discretion of the company.

BUFFET RECEPTION

  • A fully equipped table setup with skirting and warmers.
  • A complete set of disposable wares and serviettes will be provided.
  • A 10% service charge is applicable on all orders with a buffet setup.
  • Food best consumed within 3 hours.
  • Buffet collection time will be 3 hours after delivery.

What is the reason for the inclusion of a 10% service charge on my order that includes setup?

The reason for the 10% service charge on your order with setup is because the catering industry relies heavily on providing service. This service charge is essential to cover various operational expenses related to waste management, labour and equipment setup. While we have shouldering these expenses for a considerable time, the rapidly increasing overhead costs and labour expenses have made it challenging for us to continue doing so.

It’s important to note that a significant amount of resources are dedicated to:

  • Managing food waste, including the costs associated with collecting and processing it, which involves both manpower and disposal expenses.
  • Labour cost for the delivery and setup of each order.
  • Acquiring and upkeeping buffet equipment, including tasks such as washing table skirting and food warmers after each use and repairing any damaged buffet decoration equipment.

iHEAT MINI BUFFET/ BENTO/ PARTY PLATTER

  • Our iHEAT mini buffet includes self-heating agent pack and water pack to heat up the food.
  • A complete set of disposable wares and serviettes will be provided for iHEAT mini buffet. Individually packed disposable cutleries and serviettes will be provided for Bento.
  • Food is best consumed within 2 hours upon delivery.
  • No table setup will be provided.

DELIVERY CHARGES

  • iHEAT Mini Buffet, Bento or Party Platter: $40.00 ($43.60 w/GST) per delivery.
  • Buffet & High Tea Packages: $80.00 ($87.20 w/GST) per location.
  • Half-Day Seminar Packages: $100.00 ($109 w/GST) per location.
  • Full-Day Seminar Packages: $120.00 ($130.80 w/GST) per location.
  • A delivery surcharge of $10.00 ($10.90 w/GST) applies to deliveries in offshore areas (Sentosa and Jurong Island) and Central Areas denoted by the first 2 digits of the postal code: Robinson – 01,04,05,06,07,08; Marina Square – 03,17; Orchard – 22,23,24; Bras Basah – 18,19.
  • Festive surcharge of $20-$30 is applicable for all delivery orders during the festive period.
  • Our standard delivery and collection time is between 8.30am and 10.00pm, with 8.30am as the earliest delivery time and 10.00pm as the latest collection time.
  • Early Delivery Surcharge
    • reach at 6.00am – 7.00am: $300
    • reach at 7.01am – 7.30am: $200
    • reach at 7.31am – 8.29am: $100
  • Late Collection Surcharge
    • reach at 10.01pm – 10.59pm: $100
    • reach at 11.00pm – 11.30pm: $200
  • No Lift Landing Surcharge
    • 2nd level: $100
    • Subsequent per level: $50
  • Kindly inform our sales representative if your venue does not have: Direct lift access/ stairs from the unloading place/ unloading area is a distance to your venue/ challenging layout. Providing this information in advance helps us plan our arrival time and allocate manpower for your delivery. We will also not be liable for any delay resulting from the above-mentioned circumstances if we are not informed.
  • To ensure the safety of our drivers, delivery may be affected due to bad weather, traffic conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.

SALES ORDER CONFIRMATION

  • Order will be processed within 24 hours working day (Monday to Friday) once we received an acknowledgement via SMS or email.
  • Actual delivery time may vary 30 minutes before or after the stipulated delivery time.
  • Customers are responsible for checking the order and delivery details provided in the order confirmation. How’s Catering will not be liable for any charges made due to customers’ oversight.
  • After order confirmation, changes to the menu are not permitted. However, you may increase the number of pax subject to ingredient availability.
  • Any amendments must be made at least 2 working days prior to the event date. For amendments made in less than 2 working days, a handling fee will apply.
  • For buffet orders,
    • Any damages to the equipment will be charged accordingly
    • Requests for equipment collection on the day following the event will incur a fee of $100 – $200 per trip.

PAYMENT METHODS

  • Full payment has to be made upon receipt of order confirmation. Unless for corporate orders who having credit terms.
  • How’s Catering accepts payment via PayNowCredit CardDebit Card or Cheque upon delivery (Only available for Corporate Orders – cheques must be crossed and made payable to “How’s Catering”) only. All payments have to be made in full at least 2 working days before an event.
  • A 3% administrative charge will be levied for payments by credit & debit cards. The prevailing GST is chargeable on top of the administrative charge.
  • All self-collection orders and delivery to non-residential addresses must be paid in full in advance.

CANCELLATION OF ORDER

Kindly contact our sales representative (by way of writing) at least 3 working days (Monday to Friday) before the event date for any cancellation. The following charges will apply:

  • 50% of the total bill will be charged for cancellation made 3 working days (after 12nn) prior to the event date.
  • 100% of the total bill will be charged for cancellations made 2 working days prior to the event.
  • You may opt for a catering credit valid for 12 months should the payment have been made.
  • Alternatively, an administration fee of $100 ($109.00 w/GST) is applicable should there be a need to process the refund upon the customer’s withdrawal of the event booking once prepayment has been made.
  • All refunds will require 45-60 days to be processed
